About Legacy Portfolio USA

A finite exit to the excess Lease Portfolio.

Legacy Portfolio is an established manager of property lease liability portfolios, taking over the financial and management obligations. Legacy seeks to take over portfolios that are vacant, sub-let and of different types and sizes. Established in the UK for over 17 years, the Legacy concept has been brought over to the USA by Michael Dow to eliminate corporates' surplus properties and the related burdens.

Michael has been involved in International Corporate Real Estate since 1990 when he formed the corporate real estate group at Jones Lang Wootton, now Jones Lang LaSalle in London. Michael moved to the US to head up Jones Lang Wooton, where he increased sales over a five year period from £26m per annum to £81m per annum. Michael has spent time as Consultant Head of Group Property at British Telecom and executed a critique of the UK Ministry of Defence' real estate portfolio for the Minister. Furthermore, he spent 10 years from 1999 to 2009 as President of Cresa Partners, one of the US's leading corporate real estate service providers based in New York City. Michael has now joined the Legacy team to advise and develop the brand from his base in New York City.

The Legacy Portfolio model assists companies in disposing of their surplus leased real estate assets in a quick and efficient manner, removing them from the P&L and Balance Sheet. I believe this will be very attractive to many large and medium sized American Companies with good credit.
